PigeonLink is a modern club and federation management platform built specifically for pigeon racing organisations in Ireland and Britain. It brings race management, member records, results, distances, and communications into a single system — accessible from any device, with no software to install.
Built for the Sport
PigeonLink was designed from the ground up for pigeon racing — not adapted from a generic sports management tool. Every feature reflects how the sport actually works: basketing nights, liberation times, velocity calculations, darkness hour rules, loft distance confirmation, and the multi-tier structure of clubs, federations, and unions.
Distance calculations use the Airy Modified ellipsoid for IHU-affiliated clubs — the same mathematical model used by the Irish Homing Union's official Clipper software. Results produced by PigeonLink are calculated to governing body standards.
Who PigeonLink Is For
Local Clubs
Manage your membership, run your race calendar, record basketing entries, process results, and publish standings — all in one place. Members access their results and club information through their own secure account.
Federations
Oversee all member clubs from a single dashboard. Run combined federation races, manage federation-level race points and distances, and maintain a full cross-club membership view without duplicating data.
Fliers and Members
Register your loft, manage your pigeons, view your race results and season points, and communicate with your secretary — from any phone, tablet, or computer, at any time.
Key Features
How It Works for Clubs
PigeonLink operates as a shared platform. Each club has its own secure space within the system, with members and data completely separated from other clubs. A club secretary registers the club, adds members, and manages the race programme. Members register independently and join their club through the platform.
Federations have an additional layer of oversight — a federation secretary can see across all member clubs, run combined races, and manage federation-level race points and distances, while individual club management stays with each club's own secretary.
Governing Body Compatibility
PigeonLink is designed to work alongside the rules and standards of the main governing bodies:
| Governing Body | Distance Method | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Irish Homing Union (IHU) | Airy Modified ellipsoid — matches IHU Clipper software | Supported |
| Royal Pigeon Racing Association (RPRA) | WGS-84 International ellipsoid | Supported |
| Other governing bodies | Configurable per club | Contact us |
Data and Privacy
PigeonLink takes data protection seriously. The platform operates under Irish and EU law and is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Member data is held securely, is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes, and clubs retain control over their own data throughout their membership.
