This guide walks you through registering your pigeon racing club on PigeonLink. The process has two stages — you create a personal PigeonLink account, then a PigeonLink administrator approves your secretary role and sends you an activation link. The whole process typically takes less than 24 hours.
The Registration Process at a Glance
Step 1 — Creating Your Account
From the PigeonLink homepage (pigeon-link.com), click Create Free Account or Register. This opens the registration form.
Account Credentials
| Field | What to enter |

| Email Address | The email address you want to use to log in. A 6-digit verification code will be sent here. |
| Full Legal Name | Your real name — used for administration and official club records. |
| Password | Minimum 8 characters. Must include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number. |
| Confirm Password | Re-enter your password to confirm. |
Racing Profile

| Flier Name | How your name appears on race sheets and result tables (e.g. “J. Murphy” or “Murphy & Son”). Defaults to your Full Name if left blank. |
| Loft Name | Optional. The name of your loft. Uses your Flier Name if left blank. |
| Official Loft Number | Your union or club loft ID (e.g. SR-1001). Can be added later if you do not have it to hand. |
Review and Submit
When you click Create Account, a review panel shows your details before submitting. Check everything is correct, then click Confirm & Register. A 6-digit verification code is sent to your email address immediately.
Enter the code on the next screen to verify your email and complete registration. Your account is created but your secretary role is not yet active — that happens in Step 3.
Step 2 — Waiting for Approval
After verifying your email, your account is active as a standard member. To become a club secretary, a PigeonLink administrator must approve and link you to your club.
- Your account is created and you can log in
- Your secretary role is not yet assigned — you will see a standard member dashboard
- Contact support@pigeon-link.com to request secretary activation for your club, if you have not already done so
- Applications are typically reviewed and approved within 24 hours
Step 3 — Using Your Activation Link
When your secretary role is approved, you will receive an email with the subject PigeonLink — Your Secretary Activation Link. This email contains a one-time activation link valid for 48 hours.
- Open the email on the same browser you intend to use for PigeonLink.
- Click the activation link in the email.
- If prompted, log in using the email address and password you set during registration.
- The system assigns your secretary role and redirects you to your Club Dashboard.
Step 4 — Your Club Dashboard
Once activated, every time you log in to PigeonLink you will be taken directly to your Club Dashboard — your central control panel for all club management.
From the Club Dashboard you can:
- Manage members — approve join requests, add members directly, import member lists
- Set up races — create race events, manage the race calendar
- Manage basketing — record pigeon entries for races
- View loft distances — confirm official distances from lofts to liberation points
- Access race results — record and confirm race results
Troubleshooting

| I did not receive the verification code | Check your spam/junk folder. Add noreply@pigeon-link.com to your safe senders list. Wait a minute and try again — codes can occasionally be delayed. |
| I did not receive the approval email | Check your spam/junk folder. Contact support@pigeon-link.com if still not received after 24 hours. |
| My activation link says ‘already used’ | You have already activated successfully. Try logging in with your email and password. |
| My activation link has expired | Log in to PigeonLink and go to My Profile — you can enter your token code manually. Or contact support for a new link. |
| I see ‘Wrong Account’ when clicking the link | You are logged in as a different account. Click Log Out Now and log back in with the email that received the activation email. |
| I cannot log in after activation | Ensure you are using the same email address you registered with. Use Forgot Password if needed. |
| My club dashboard shows no members | You need to add members. See the Adding Club Members guide. |
