When a member requests to join your club through PigeonLink, you receive a pending request that requires your approval before they become an active member. This guide explains how to review, approve, and decline membership requests.
How Members Request to Join
Members can find your club through the PigeonLink Club Directory and click Request to Join. Their request is created with a Pending status they can see it in their My Club page but cannot access any club features until you approve them.
When a new request arrives, you will see a notification badge next to Manage Members in the sidebar menu.
Reviewing Pending Requests
- From your Club Dashboard, click Manage Members in the sidebar.
- The page opens on the Pending Requests tab, showing everyone awaiting approval.
- Each row shows the member's name, email address, loft name, loft number, and the date they applied.
Approving a Member
Click the green Approve Membership button on the member's row. The member's status changes to Active immediately and they receive an email notification confirming they have been accepted.
Declining a Request
Click Decline Request on the member's row. You will be asked to enter an optional reason. If you provide a reason, it is included in the notification email sent to the applicant. If you leave it blank, the applicant is simply notified that their request was not approved.
